ABOUT US
OUR SAMPLING & MANUFACTURING PROCESS
1. Put your design on paper
A Technical Pack (Tech Pack for short) is a blueprint of a final garment. It contains all the technical specifications and design details that make your product unique. Essentially, it is a tool used by designers and manufacturers to communicate.
Please ask us for a template tech pack for you to kick start your design process. Please ensure you have your tech pack ready before you plan your sampling date.
2. Sampling - Make your design a product
Sampling is a process of making a product prototype with reference to your tech pack, prior to starting bulk production.
The sampling process includes convert your fabric to a design as per your tech pack, checks for garment fit, quality assessment of fabrics and trims, approval of value-added processes, and final approval of the completed garment.
We insist a member of the respective brand is present on the day of sampling to ensure a smooth process
3. CAD Pattern Making & Grading
Create paper prototypes to start your production. Once your sample is finalized, we share the approved sample and technical pack with our pattern master, who utilises CAD software to translate your sample into flat patterns. These flat patterns are printed and used as templates for production cutting.
These patterns are your intellectual property and we ensure no one else has access to it.
4. Garment Production
Garment production is a well-organised process that includes various steps. These are laying, marking, cutting, stitching, checking, finishing, pressing, and packaging. This is the process of transforming raw materials into final goods. Every step is overlooked by a team member for quality.
Upon creating your sample, we record the time required for cutting, stitching, buttoning, trimming, ironing, and packing to determine your per-garment production cost.
The cost per garment decreases as the quantity of garments using the same pattern increases
COST & PRICING PROCESS
We usually bill in 3 stages
- Sampling
- Pattern Making
- Production
Upon creating your sample, we record the time required for cutting, stitching, buttoning, trimming, ironing, and packing to determine your per-garment production cost. The cost per garment decreases as the quantity of garments using the same pattern increases.
As every order is unique we ensure we discuss all costs involved before the start of production.
